Bill: The investment firms always make money! If they sell your stock, they get a commission. If they buy your stock...guess what?...they get a commission. "How good is that?"...you bet! John |

"I'd love to see the Dow tank a couple more thousand points...just to watch grown men weep." A lot of us are hoping for the same thing....just because it creates an excellent buying opportunity. I invested 3 grand in a stock mutual fund a few days after 9/11. It's nearly doubled in value. At least it had until today! Anyway, the only people who get hurt when the Dow tanks are the faint-hearted ones who get out. I certainly wouldn't recommend that folks invest everything they have in the market, though. Diversification is the key. A little gold in your portfolio is a GOOD thing. |

My Pappy said don't invest in stocks more than you can afford to lose. Heeded his advice and never contributed to the Wall Street Moguls. |

Every penny I own is saved in several different bank accounts fully covered by FDIC. I don't earn much interest, but I sure haven't lost anything I've deposited, either. I'd love to see the Dow tank a couple more thousand points...just to watch grown men weep. |

Hope you don't have any investments. Dow was down 300+ today and at times it was down 1000. Put your money under your mattress. Ha Ha Have a good trip. |

$1.26 = 1 Euro. Best it's been in a long time. Hope it holds or gets better at the end of the month when I start my trip |
