Some time ago, Ft. Meade did not allow long-term parking by Space A'er, so unless somebody knows if that has changed, Curtis Bay CGS is the only other military base long term free parking option.

Another alternative if "long-term" is 14 days or less is to google Park, Sleep, Fly. This gives you a list of motels near major airports -- inc. BWI -- which offer up to 14 days free parking if you stay one (or more) nights. I've used Ramada Inn twice for this -- and they have a free on the hour shuttle to/from the airport. When you add two cab rides to an overnight at Curtis Bay, you pretty much break even on cost.

Robert - IMO best bet for parking is Curtis Yard Coast Guard Base. Vehicles are in a lighted lot near the gate, cab fare is reasonable, and if you want to stay overnight on either leg of your journey before going on, accommodations are acceptable.

Many discussions about parking at Coast Guard Yard. As I recall a taxi to BWI about $20.00.

Any SpaceA'er done long term parking at either Ft Meade or the Coast Guard Station in Baltimore for flight out of BWI?
Comments or recommendations on either? Thanks. Bob
