We stayed at the Hotel Continental after our transatlantic cruise this year. Location was good. Right at the top of the Ramblas and very near Cataluyna square. It was 97 euros. Free wifi and free 24 hour buffet with soft drinks, wine, beer, coffee and tea. Rooms are very small and very "pink". Staff was very helpful.
We have also stayed at the Regencia Colon. Also a good location. Rooms are not very soundproof.
Another hotel we stayed at was the Silken Gran Hotel Havana. Very nice I believe 4 star hotel. |

Two weeks ago we stayed at the airport Best Western - Alpha Hotel for 85 Euros a night. It was clean. They have free shuttle service to the airport.

There should be a good HI hostel in Barcelona. Try to google Hostelling International, and the web site will give you the hostels.
If you are traveling with wife and/or family, they usually have private rooms. JC |

We stayed at the H10 Raco del Pi. Good size room and bathroom. Nice amenities. Good location. Would definitely stay there again. |
