The Sea Life Museum in Seward is truly outstanding and a must see. Live birds and animals and short film also. Entrance fee but has military discount. Took me nearly 3 hours to go through and I could have stayed longer.

Enjoyed your blog report. Thanks. We also loved our Denali, Kenai, Seward, Anchorage trip last July, and have successfully used Alaska Airlines for shipping fish. Your toddler is lucky to have such a great family travel experince!

We just returned from Alaska and had a wonderful time. What a beautiful place! I will post a link to my trip report since I also do reports for traveling with kids. Please note most of our trip was not space a. We flew Alaska Airlines and stayed at Ft Richardson once. We did utilize the Seward Military Resort for the glacier cruise and fishing, as well as the Bx at Elmendorf. I did learn a whole lot about shipping fish back home either via fed-ex overnight or on an airline (which we did) and places to store that fish. So if you have questions about that, please let me know. All in all, we came home with 55 lbs of halibut. I took pics of our lodging at Ft Richardson, pics of the Seward Resort, and maps of Richardson and Elmendorf. Any questions, ask away.

Amy, your team beat us. We only brought back 49 lbs. of halibut in an ice chest from Seward to Texas. We were lucky to catch a C40 nonstop from Elmendorf to NAS Ft. Worth. The extra weight was no problem.
