Heck I can remember listening to The Lone Ranger ETC on the radio but as long as I can still move around I don't consider myself old. Just wiser LOL |

John - I guess I am over the hill. Because, not only to I remember Captain Midnight. I had a decoder ring, just like all the other kids in my neighborhood. Let me explain: I am old, but not old enough for the original radio version. My Captain Midnight days were in the early to mid 50's when it was on Saturday morning TV. Talk about "must see TV". All the kids my age were glued to the TV's on Saturday mornings for Captain Midnight. And in order to get your decoder ring and decode the weekly message at the end of the show, you had to send in labels off the Ovaltine jar and some "change" to get the ring. None of my buddies, me included would dare be caught without our decoder rings. It was a badge of honor So yeah, I guess that makes me over the hill. |

I almost hate to do this, but I couldn’t resist. If you remember Captain Midnight and the secret decoder ring, you are over the hill. http://www.exploratorium.edu/ronh/secret/secret.html |
