John,
If you ended up in Ramstein (RMS), you can take the free shuttle bus right outside the terminal that goes to Frankfurt and take commercial flight to UK.
The bus departs at 1000 daily Monday to Friday. You might want to check if thats still current. Good luck. |

John, you can fly on Ryan air from Frankfurt Hahn or Karlsruhe Germany for about $50 a person. The only problem is that they stopped running the shuttle that used to go from Ramstein to Frankfurt Hahn so it sounds like it would probably be easier going to Rota since the bus terminal is right there. |

Ryan Air flies from Jerez de la Frontera (XRY) to London (Stansted) UK. Check their website for info: www.ryanair.com . I imagine they also fly from GE to UK. Ryan Air fares are low and affordable and they use large aircraft.
You can take a bus from Rota to XRY; Bus Terminal adjacent to Rota NAS main gate.

Does anyone have recent experience or knowledge of commercial air from Rota or Ramstein areas to the UK? I understand there are carriers like Ryan Air flying discount routes throughout Europe. |
