We took the Alibus. It stops at "Stazione" and then at the harbor. The cost is 3 euro per person and it is an express bus |

I'm at Capo now - the bus to catch from the airport is the "3S". Oops . . . First mistake I ever made!

I'm at Capo now - the bus to catch from the airport is the "3S". Another option is Alibus (a little more expensive but air conditioned and only two stops and therefore quicker). Alibus goes to Napoli Centrale railway station and Piazza Municipio in the centre of Naples (I believe every 30 minutes during day - will try to verify in morning). You can buy your ticket on the bus from the driver. p.s. keep an eye on the Spacea.net Naples Wiki page for other helpful info as I'll be updating the info there in the next few days after I get back home. |

As Danny points out, it is an easy walk. Exit from the main gate, and follow the road to its end, then turn right. Enter the civil air terminal, and go to the newsstand to the right of the main entrance. You may purchase bus tickets there. Ask for "biglietti." If you're going to return to Capodichino, buy for both ways. Exit from the terminal, and go to the right. Look for bus 2S. Board the bus, and punch your ticket in the little validating machine you will see on the bus (this is very important). This bus will take you all the way to the train station. |

Henry, you can walk from NSA Capodichino to the Capodichino Airport, even dragging bags (if they have rollers at least). It's a 10-15 minute walk and it is level terrain with sidewalks outside the NSA. At the Airport, you can catch city buses that will take you to the train station in Naples. I don't remember the exact fare, but it was MUCH cheaper than taxi fare. The NSA ITT office or the USO office can probably tell you the number of the bus and the fare it costs to get you from the Airport to the train station. |

What's the usual way to get from incoming flights to the main train station? Also, the cheapest? What are the range(s) of fares for each? |
