Rental CAR on base in Ramstein

There is not hassle at all getting a rental car on base, just be sure you have your ID card with you and it doesn't hurt to have your passport handy either. Lat fall, when I rented a car from them, they drove me to town to pick up the car. I had no problem getting the car on base. I am Flying to Ramstein next 31 march, CAT III. I have a car rental at AMCR. I know that I have to go out in town to get the car, but is there going to be any issue getting on and off base with the car or is that a no do. I'm active duty, but not stationed in EUR.
