There are two long term parking lots. Neither require a permit. One discribed below is near the Security Forces. The other is farther, maybe two more blocks, under the water tower. You no longer need a pass at Charleston. The passenger terminal has maps for locations. Both are easy walks. The lot across from the passenger terminal is for trips of less than 72 hours. David |

Marita, If you haven't already done so, please check out the info available at spacea.net. For example, the Charelston AFB Wiki Page describes the Long-term Parking available. There is even a link to a map showing you were it is! This type of local info is available for many other locations on their respective Wiki Page. |

When you arrive at the Charleston Pax Terminal, ask a pax rep about the long term parking lot. It is across the street from the Security Force, or Air Police station, where you will go to fill out the permit, which you will leave on your dashboard when you park in the long term lot. It is free. |

Long range parking if free and about 2 blocks from the terminal. Parking permit is obtained across the street from the parking area. Happy traveling! |

We are planning to try our luck and go Space-A from Charleston to Germany at the end of next week. Is there long-term parking for Space-A passengers somewhere near the PAX terminal or on base? Is it free and if not, how much is it? Thanks! |
