You can take a bus to the central business district and transfer to another bus that will take you to the West Bank. The nearest bus stop will be a 45 minute walk if the back gate is open, longer otherwise. |

Al, I REALLY hate when people do this to me: I don't know but... It's a heck of a long way from the commercial airport to NAS NOLA. You either want to have a pretty good wad of cash in your pocket or rethink your plan. I can't provide you with specifics because I haven't been there in years, but when I was a young sailor (think wooden ships) I took a bus from the city to the base. It's located in Belle Chasse, LA. |
