Alica, I would still hold out for Hertz if possible, that way you can drop it off at Norfolk. Use Patrol road for the drop off point. To bad I didn't have a car still parked at Dover. |

Avis, Budget and Enterprise are all open on Sunday...but they are sold out! Avis 302-734-5550 Enterprise 302-674-5553 Budget 302-736-5069 All these companies offer one way to ORF(Norfolk International) then a $25 cab ride to MAC Terminal at NOB. Well worth it since Hertz is closed. |

Alicia, I used the bus several times down to Norfolk. The cost, for a old guy, was cheaper, not much, but it has been a couple years. Only other thing would be one-way rental. I used Hertz, but like you said closed on Sundays. Cost was just over $100. Swings and roundabouts really. Stay the night if you can, and you and the girls drive down. Think George would be much more. Good luck Don |

Greyhound runs three buses daily, including Sundays, from Dover to Norfolk. The adult fare starts at $53.68 with a potential 10% discount for military. I've never used them, but the Greyhound website (www.greyhound.com) includes information. |

Hertz is closed on Sundays and I highly doubt they would drop off a rental on a Saturday. Waiting to hear from George. Need to get to Norfolk. Any ideas?? |
