It would seem that if this fits you it sure is a good deal. I seem to remember that Hertz USA does roughly the same on a seasonal basis moving cars to and from Florida and colder climes. |

I don't know if this is a typical thing or if it is because of the volcano, but Hertz wants cars returned to their 'home' country and is willing to waive the dropoff fee. Here is the list of actual cars, where they need to go, and where they are at. The current page shows British pickup locations.
