I believe the new USO is to open May 6th near the Terminal I "C" arrival area on the ground floor. Also the shuttle bus from the USO to Ramstein and from Ramstein to the USO is still operating as a free service. Info provided by USO Director on 29 April. He also mentioned two other travel options available if traveler misses the afternoon shuttle to Ramstein. Ask USO Personnel. The present temporary facility is located on the outside area of Terminal I "C" arrival area bottom floor. |

On April 25 the USO at Frankfurt International Airport was still located in a trailer on an island between two lanes of bus traffic outside terminal 1. When I had trouble finding it, the folks at the terminal information desk were very helpful. |

I will be teaching at a University in Mainz for a few weeks. Does anyone know how to get to the USO in Frankfurt? I want to visit there. JC |
