Union Station. It might be easier to get to L.A. from North Island than from Lemoore. Other than that, my suggestion would be a rental car. On the Lemoore web site, under Navy Exchange, there is a mention of car rental: https://www.cnic.navy.mil/Lemoore/Programs/FacilitiesandEnvironmental/BaseServic es/NavyExchange/index.htm Lemoore is roughly halfway between U.S. 99 (to the east) and I-5 (to the west), and either route will take you south toward L.A. Personally, we prefer I-5, because just before you reach the interstate, you'll see the Harris Ranch complex. Both the dining room and coffee shop offer excellent meals.   Roy D.
