Elmendorf To Homer/Whittier

Is there a bus or...We want to catch the ferry to Kodiak from either port. I know there is a train that runs from Anchorage to Whittier daily but Homer? We going to try and go space a to Elmendorf in the near future and after touring around a little may also take a last minute cruise from Whittier or Seward to Vancouver.
