Yes they did, I drove to their location and they came with me to the terminal and took the car. |

Hertz is still at the BX at CAFB. I was just at the Hertz agency. Hertz is still at the BX/Commissary complex. The agent on duty said they do not have a definitive moving date. And possibly may not move. So, stay tuned. However, any move will likely coincide with the completion of the BX expansion, which appears to be near as the exterior of the building is nearly done. Karen Yan is correct on the walk and the turn in at the pax terminal. |

Another option so you can compare prices is Enterprise at 7291 Cross County Rd North Charleston 843-552-2150. They will pick you up and drop you off. I recently rented from Enterprise at Shaw AFB and dropped off at Charleston. After drop off they drove me to the AFB (about a 5 to 10 minute drive) |

I have walked that walk from billetting to Hertz. 20-minute walk. They also let me turn in the the car in the parking lot in front of the Pax terminal. |

So sorry the Hertz car rental is in the BX. Hours M - F 0900-1600
Sat 0900 - 1300 Closed Sundays. Ph 843-760-6312
The other car rental places are listed in Charleston AMCgram, in case you arrive after hours or on Sunday. |

Can anyone tell me where the closest car rental agency is to Charleston Airforce base. I will be renting a car for 3 weeks and by not going to the International Airport to rent one I can save $200. Thanks! |
