Arrived at Dover AFB, yesterday 11 JUN. Not a rental car was available from the majors. Called taxis and limos. Got a limo from Personal Touch Limousine Service (302 697 6291) owned by a retired AF guy named Tim Yeager. Very pleased with the service and went to McGuire for $180. Limo contained cold drinks and magazines. Mentioned to the driver that we got a recording from "George's" saying they would be closed to the 16th of JUN. The driver went on to say that he thought they would be out of business by the 16th. Two other taxi companies wanted $240 and $250 to McGuire. |
